Pregnancy Exercise has still not found its due place in the commotion list of pregnant women. The traditional advice given to pregnant women is to take rest and do light work. The reason for this is that most of us are very unaware of the many benefits that exercising can provide during pregnancy. Even the doctors do not prescribe it, unless the women complain about problems such as backaches or fatigue, swellings or constipation etc. Even then not all doctors do prescribe pregnancy exercises.

It is important not to get dehydrated. Similarly, make sure you are wearing loose and comfortable clothing and shoes for exercising. Do not over do and keep the exercise to a light and easy level. The idea is to keep fit and healthy and not to hurt yourself or the baby by over exercising.
